CITIC Heavy Industries Company Ltd (CITIC HIC) has a former name Luoyang Mining Machinery Plant. CITIC HIC was one of 156 "Important Projects" initiated under the Chinese Governments first “FIVE YEAR PLAN”.  In July 2012, the company A shares listed on the Shanghai stock exchange successfully.

After 60 years of construction and development, CITIC Heavy Industries has become a national innovative and high-tech enterprise, the largest mining machinery manufacturer, China's low speed and heavy load gear processing base, and China large casting and forging and heat processing center. It owns four Chinese brands with the name of "Luo mine" ---large ball mill, large scale reducer, large roller press and large-scale cement rotary kiln. It provides customers with products, engineers and service in mining, metallurgy, nonferrous metals, building materials, electric power, energy saving, environmental protection, electrical drive and automation. It was awarded as “Chinese Backbones and the Cradle for Heavy Equipment”

It aquired the first nationally approved Technical Centres in this Industry. The subsidiary LMMEDI is the largest organisation for technology development and research in mining machinery in China. It specializes in research, development and design of equipment and turnkey systems for the mining industry.

Its construction and development attracts attention from many leaders such as President Xijinping and Premier Likeqiang, all inject new impetus to the development of us.
